Windload Blowout/Replacement Policy
It is the responsibility of the installing Asta Door Corporation Dealer to obtain all pertinent information regarding a blown out door, so Asta can determine whether there was product failure, or if wind gust exceeded the windload specified for the particular door in question.
  1. Your initial contact should be with Asta Customer Service Department.
  2. Provide pictures of the inside and outside of the door showing guides and fasteners.
  3. Provide a letter from the closest airport stating the wind gusts the day of the blowout.
  4. Provide the invoice number, job name, and address.
  5. Any emergency door built for the customer to close the opening will be invoiced at normal price.  If it is determined there was product failure, the customer will be credited for the door.  There will be no credit for labor.
